The Schedule

All events will take place at the Marriott Regent’s Park Hotel, 128 King Henry's Road, London NW3 3ST, +44 (0)20 7591 1556.

Wednesday 16 November

Registration will be held at 7 p.m. It is obligatory that players register then. We invite all participants to join us in toasting the success of the Championship with a glass of champagne.

On registration, as in previous years, contestants will all receive a “goodie bag” of souvenirs.

Thursday 17 November

The first eight rounds of a 24-round modified Swiss tournament begin at 8:30 a.m. We will be providing a buffet lunch for all contestants and officials.

Friday 18 November

Rounds 9–17 of a 24-round modified Swiss tournament begin at 8:30 a.m. We will be providing a buffet lunch for all contestants and officials.

Saturday 19 November

The last seven rounds of a 24-round modified Swiss tournament begin at 8:30 a.m. We will be providing a buffet lunch for all contestants and officials.

Sunday 20 November

The top two players will contest a five-game final beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Final will be open to the public and contestants. The award ceremony will follow shortly thereafter. We expect the finals to end no later than 6 p.m.
