At board 1, it's Adam Logan (CAN) vs. Gerald Carter (THA). Adam nearly chews a hole in his collar spending seven turns catching up to Gerry, and a close game is still in progress as I write this.

Some spectators (not to name Ganesh Asirvatham (MYS) seem to appreciate the new crowd barriers, as they keep the rest of the spectators at a safe distance). Ganesh is also the first one to test my "If you stand in front of my webcam, your navel may appear on the Internet." sign. I apologize if it did.
